Weekly Letter

Olá Família,
This week went by fast. Here in Paraíba do Sul, it is quite a bit cooler, so I am pretty sure that I will gain a few pounds. It also rains almost every day after 4 o´clock. The members a re really nice and are excited to help. Elder Ornelas is my new companion. He is from Mexico, but lives in El Paso, Texas now. It´s really easy to get along with him, so that´s good. The city is pretty small and quiet. Everyone has to travel to Três Rios to go shopping so it reminds me a lot of home. The only real difference is that here is branch with around 41,000 people living in the city,  and not a stake with 4,000 people. haha. But we are really excited to work here. There are still quite a few neighborhoods that Elder Ornelas doesn´t know, so we will be able top keep busy pretty easily. Our house has a cockroach problem, but they are starting to leave. We found one the other day when we got home, so we killed it and held a funeral service. I will send the pictures and maybe the video. Love You Guys Tons!!

Weekly Letter

Olá Família!
This last week was good. I had the opportunity to call home and speak with some family really quickly. It was great to talk and see everyone again. Today we have been running around a lot. We had the transfer call yesterday and I will travel to Paraíba do Sul which is a city really close. It is only 20 minutes away. haha. I will even be in the same district. We have been trying to get everything ready and packed here, and between the going away parties, and the haircut line, its been a bit `´rushed`´ And so I don't have a whole lot of time to write. This last Sunday Everton came all dressed up in his shirt and Tie, and even the suit jacket we gave him, just to pass the sacrament. It was a really cool experience to see the progress. He and his family were baptized about 4 months ago, but he has been working a lot of Sundays so thins was the 1st time. It is one of the best feelings to get when you see someone that has gets baptized, and keeps moving forwards. He told us too that he has been reading the Book of Mormon and is in Alma! I am going to miss the members here in Tres Rios but am excited to switch things up a little. Haha. I love you guys tons! Sorry for the short letter but the inter net place is closing!
Until next week!
